Public Wireless Internet
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the library during our open hours. Our Wi-Fi network is called CDPL Patron. Select this network in your device’s Wi-Fi settings, then click to accept the Terms of Service.
Public Computers
Public computers with Internet access are located on the second floor of the library. We also have a Parent Computer located on the first floor of the library in our Youth Services area.
A library card or computer access card is required to log onto these computers.
Patrons are limited to two hours of computer use per day. Computers shut down 15 minutes before the library closes.
Library staff are available to help answer questions, but are unable to provide extensive training on the use of computers.
Children nine years old and younger are restricted from using our second floor public computers. They may use the children’s computers on our first floor Youth Services area that have age-appropriate links.
Printing
Print from your phone, tablet, or laptop using our Princh Printing service. You can choose to send your document to either our first or second floor printer, then go to that floor’s service desk to pay for and get your prints.
Copying and Scanning
Photocopiers for public use are located on both our first and second floors. Black-and-white copies are 10¢ per side. Color copies are 25¢ per side. Cash and card payments are accepted. Card payments have a $3 minimum. You can also scan a document to your email for free.
Faxing
Faxing is available at our first floor copier for $1 per page.
Hotspots and Laptops
The library’s collection now contains mobile hotspots and Chromebook laptops to check out and take home. For more information or to check out a hotspot or laptop, ask at our first floor Circulation Desk.
We also have In-House Laptops available to check out and use inside the library. These are available at our second floor Adult Services desk.
